Postcards From The Ocean - Solo Exhibition, June 2024

The ocean is a great catalyst for reflection and inspiration, it is a grounding place for so many of us to find perspective. This exhibition gave me an opportunity to explore the unique facets of growing up never far from the coast. Then I spent 5 months channelling this influence into the creative mediums I have gathered throughout my time at The Learning Connexion. Each piece I have made was inspired by a moment in my life that was spent by the ocean, etched into my memory, a ‘postcard’ you could say. I wanted to encapsulate these little memories and bring them to life, immortalising them in a physical form.
